What are Vector Graphics

Many people are familiar with bitmap jpeg graphics because of the widespread use of the digital camera. Fewer people are aware of vector graphics. Vector graphics, which are eps files, are used in the same way as jpegs. The main differences are that vectors can be scaled to any size without loss of resolution. Vectors can also be easily recolored in a vector editing program such as Adobe Illustrator. The elements within a vector graphic can also be easily rearranged and even collaged with bitmap images. They are used in Flash animation, PowerPoint presentations, Vehicle sign wrapping, packaging, video, and the list goes on and on. You can check out some my latest vector art by clicking here.
